The Ecoegg Laundry Egg is one of the most economical, chemical-free and environmentally friendly laundry options available today. It does NOT irritate the skin and washes out completely from fabrics, so it is highly recommended for children and adults with eczema problems. The product is supported by Allergy UK and the British Eczema Association. Ecoegg products have not been tested on animals. Available in economical packaging, it is a chemical-free and environmentally friendly laundry detergent that can cost as little as less than £0.04 (depending on the packaging). It does not irritate the skin and rinses completely out of fabrics, making it highly recommended for children and adults with eczema. Hypoallergenic – does not contain any harmful ingredients (chemicals, petroleum derivatives, optimising additives, bleaching agents). It is ideal for washing both adult and children's clothes. The outer shell of the Ecoegg washing egg is made of 100% recycled, flexible rubber that will not damage your washing machine drum. The Ecoegg laundry egg contains scientifically developed, patented cleaning balls. There are two types of cleaning balls in the laundry egg: Dark-coloured: a crystalline mineral (tourmaline) that helps remove dirt from textile fibres. White: balls made of a washing soda-based cleaning agent. These ionise the oxygen molecules in the water, allowing them to penetrate the textile fibres and remove dirt from them. Washing takes place without fading or damaging colours. The best washing results are achieved by using both types of balls together, as proven by scientific studies. It is extremely easy to use: place the balls (3 white and 1 grey) in the ecoegg Laundry Egg and place the egg in the drum of your washing machine. The ionised oxygen molecules raise the pH value of the water, which means they have a water softening effect. It can be used effectively even at low temperatures. It can be used for coloured and white clothes as well as 'delicate' fabrics. Use at a maximum temperature of 60 degrees! Do not use for boiling clothes! Washing tips: Do not overfill the washing machine drum so that the laundry egg can move freely during washing. If you want to add fragrance to your laundry, we recommend using laundry perfume. Before using the Ecoegg for the first time, we recommend thoroughly cleaning your washing machine with a 90°C cleaning cycle (+vinegar) or with Ecoegg Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets.
